Foundry Home Youth Shelter
Foundry Home is a low-barrier shelter for homeless, runaway, or trafficked youth, ages 12-17. Support and guidance is provided 24/7 by our shelter staff. Shelter features include: private rooms, shared living room, provided meals, and transportation for appointments. Youth also have the option to participate in counseling services through the Rise Up counseling program.
Youth are provided individualized and collaborative case management to effectively assess, plan, and evaluate progress to better meet youth's needs. Support is provided throughout the youth's stay at the shelter, and continued even after the youth has left.
Youth Ambassadors
The purpose of the Youth Ambassadors program is to help get the word out to youth in need that may not know where to go for help. Youth Ambassadors are youth volunteers, who provide information and share their knowledge with peers in the community that may be runaways or believed to be at risk of homelessness.

Trauma counseling is built on the understanding of how traumatic experiences affect an individual's mental, emotional and physical well-being. This therapy aims to help children, adolescents and adult survivors heal from the effects of trauma by offering skills to better understand and cope with the processing of emotions and memories tied to traumatic experiences.
Groups provide a space for the expression of emotions, with a focus on safety and support; and offer a way to connect with others with similar challenges, which may provide feelings of acceptance, connection, and normalization of responses. Separate groups for youth & adults of various topics are offered periodically throughout the year.
First Responder Support
Our goal is to help support our first responder partner agencies: law enforcement, child protective services, and educators. We encourage them to prioritize and normalize their mental health. Clinicians provide education about the pressures and dynamics of working in crisis and the impact that prolonged exposure and continuous high stress can have on them.
